IMG"S Overlapping Other IMG'S_ When...

I have VSD 0.7 and I'm uploading through the Publishing (Not Manually!) and after the 4th page loaded I'm noticing that some of them are starting to overlap into other IMG_.

Also, when I load the pages with a specific information in my DHTML Menu Builder, They load properly then after a few visits to the page site they are automatically giving me an old site Link that I started with.

I Refreshed and also cleaned out my server TWICE and Cache. I know that this is not a Hosting site issue . It's frustrating to go back to my uploaded pages to find that IMG's_ from my other uploaded pages are taking the place of my original IMG's. My Root Directory thru FTP is / (forward slash)

Does anyone know how to seperate Page 1 IMG_ FROM Page 2 IMG_ without them ending up on the other Pages Site? Can I upload into their own Folder without alln the IMG's_ being dumped into one Files Folder? If so, how can this be done?

Thank you,

Gary

Any chance of a link to the site so we can see what is going on

And is this first time you have tried uploading (ie) new website, or have you done some edits having previously uploaded.

I personally tend to start by running a test upload in /test1, and update the test in /test2

I dont upload to rute, till at least nearly happy with things, alternatively I would delete all and upload a fresh once reasonably happy with things

hI Viv,

Building Goodfellas Pizza Website... If you take a look at the following Appetizer Site, you will see my Green Banner as a Backdrop IMG_114 that belongs to my ArticleS Page.

http://www.goodfellasusa.com/victory_menu.html

The other examples are Catering and Salads and Soups... Can you have multiple Folders attached to your Root by Seperating your page files?

BTW... I like your Websites.

Thanks,

Gary

Viv,

My other sites through Coffee Cup are:

www.siwba.org
www.broadwaymikessteakhouse.com
www.chefmarioskitchen.com
www.profilestvshow.net
www.questmedia.net

I had better luck with VSD 0.6.

Thanks,

Gary

http://www.goodfellasusa.com/victory_menu.html has issues with the images in the footer. Double vision, for sure.

Hi Tom,

Definetely... The problem is that all my images are being renamed to IMG_#'s and are being uploaded into one main files folder on my server. How do I seperate all the images from one Page into its own folder so that my other pages images are not associated with that page?

As I stated, is their away I can use a sub folder from my root / on my server to have each page their own individual files folder when they are uploaded?

Thanks,

Gary

I don't think you can. It's just the way VSD works.

Tom is right, you can't. If you do it manually, VSD will overwrite everything next time you upload a change/addition.
Ha en riktig god dag!

Gary, I would try a re-sync of your site after you delete all the files with a ftp client.;)
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

Hi Eric,

How does it work for you? What am I doing differently that I should not be doing? I started fresh after I rebooted and cleared out my server... I use Publish for uploading my site to my root folder which is /.

How am I supposed to upload and where?
Why are my images all over the place?
How Do I avoid that?

I don't understand... It should be so easy.

Thanks,

Eric
