Im just got the trial version of CoffeeCup Visual Site Designer. I am trying to make a webpage for my Shriner Unit, The Isis Highlanders, our Pipe and Drum Band. I registered my domain name and web site thru HostMonster but I dont know what is going on. Is there a book written on how to use Coffee Cup and make a web page with it? I thought I understood it but realize now i dont, I made my page it in the program then went onto Hostmonster and uploaded it, but none of my tabs or anything else is showing.
Here is my site: www.isispipesanddrums.com
Im new to all this, and the biggest reason for me doing it is becasue everyone else wanted thousands of dollars to make one so we thought "I'd" make us one. Hahaha. Any tips or help is greatly appreciated.

Hi and welcome JT,
How may I ask did you upload your website? did you use a ftp client or use the built-in ftp in Visual Site Designer?

Might be that your images were not uploaded with the "files" folder.
Just as a note it's always best to use the built-in ftp so your sure not to miss anything vital like images.....

This is the file structure of VSD:

Ok I log onto HostMonster, It brings you to a page full of different links, but said to go to the Files Section, then click on the Unlimited FTP link, I did, initially it loaded some ftp software. then it shows two colums, the one on the left is of your computer and harddrive, I chose that one, then you click on the file on the host side of hostmonster, the folder labeled public_html, I did. I did upload. But it only loaded the one page. Nothing else.
AS I stated Im new to all this, but I checked I had uploaded all the files. Im just confused.

Ok Sorry,
is there a folder there called files? I couldn't see it, this is where all your images (which are missing) are laocated.
JT if you would like to set up your ftp in VSD which would make it alot easier for you we can do that instead of you going the long way around. :)

Under setting look for ftp settings.
under ftp server type in: website.com or www.website.com (we will try both)
user name=what you sign into hostmonster with
password= sign in password
WWW=public_html

in the ftp settings if your sure the user name and password are correct then try changing the ftp server name for example=
ftp.website.com----website.com---www.website.com
I don't have monster so I really can't say but if you upload using them, you'll have to upload the files folder located in your website folder which is I'm sure you know located in My Documents by default. you'll need to upload everything in that folder and not the folder itself. Make sense? :)
UPDTE: I checked their tutorial and it is
ftp server=website.com
user name=******
password=******
WWW=/public_html ( the forward slash should get you directly into the public folder)

when you get a chance you can follow this filezilla ftp tutorial and use it to fill in the VSD ftp.http://tutorials.hostmonster.com/filezilla/
and if need be I'll LOAN you a server to try so you'll understand the difference.
I know I'm bad.....:|
