html link to a section on another...

The title says it all I guess.
I know I have to use the html box in both places but what do I need to put in the box to link from say a section on my diary page to a section on my photos page?

Any simple help appreciated, my brain is getting tired and old!! :(

Hi,
I been trying to do as you wished but having a great deal of difficulty. I thought I had it once, but it may be that you can only link to a ceretain position from within the same page as it stands. still trying though.

Could it be done by linking to an image on another page instead of using a position on a page?
Is that any easier?

it may not be difficult , but i'm not all that code saavy! but I will give that a try also and let you know, meanwhile maybe someone with more saavy will chime in. :)

I am not an html expert by a long chalk, but my handy-dandy html book says this:

On the web page that contains the area: [to be linked to]
<A NAME="gohere"></A>

On the web page that contains the link:

<A HREF="mypage.html#gohere"> Text To See</A>

I have not tested it as I am trying to cook dinner.

Maybe later tonight.
