I won't be able to fire up VSD and give it a try until sometime next week at best (tis hunting season), but as soon as I get free time I will see what I can do to break it ;)

Believe me, we ALL feel the frustration you are feeling at one time or another, just part of the wonderful world of technology... But if there's a better solution, or a better explanation, the gang here will find it. Hang in there :cool:

I just fired up some Google Analytics on two of my sites. One made with VSD and the other in the HTML editor and I can't verify either one as of 1 minute ago. I had the code on both for about 15 mins so I'll post back an update after a few hours. Fingers and toes crossed.:)
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

Eric, with the VSD site, did you use the add analytics function or insert it yourself?

I just got my VSD site verified. I placed the code into a HTML box to the body html and placed the html box at the bottom of my site and it verified within 2 minutes.:cool:
I can't hear what I'm looking at.

The VSD tool puts it at the bottom as well... sounds like that's where it needs to go.

I'll let you all get it figured out before I give it a go :lol::lol::lol:

Eric - thanks, knew you'd p"rolly" jump in here and help out... :D Still would like to see CC fix the feature though, as it does seem to make a difference.

It worked, Eric?? Awesome! Well, when I use the "real" way via VSD, it doesn't put it at the bottom...but maybe there's something weird with mine. It was working earlier, after I added it manually using the HTML editor. But then, I decided to try adding it into the header via VSD. And so far, it hasn't "unverified" me again. So we'll see.

But it's great to know it works just by adding an HTML box! Thanks for checking that. I will do that, if this doesn't work. :D

I see this morning it officially works. I changed it yesterday to add the code to the header on each page. So far, so good!
