I usually just copy/paste a FB icon and then make it a hyperlink. That seems to work well, and you can simply use the URL from the FB page as the hyperlink. You can find icons by searching Google images.

I have a bunch of sites that I've added the like button to, but one site no matter what I do it won't show up. I created a blank page and it showed up there. On the main page I've moved it around so it's not over any image or anything else that's linked and no luck.

Any suggestions? Thank you, peeps here have been really helpful to me.

here's the site that I can't get the like button to appear, if you look at the code it's there!!!

Have you tried Object> Arrange> Bring to Front? That's all I can think of :D

You need to bring it to the front. It's hidden behind your header image. See attached.:)

Yes I've brought it to the front and I've moved it around the page to areas without any images. Maybe I should recreate the front page, something might be lurking there that I'm not seeing? not sure UGH! you know the frustration!!!!!

thank you!!! any other suggestions? :(:|

Is your Facebook code inside an Iframe?

I tried this code on your page and it showed just fine.:)

<iframe src="http://www.facebook.com/plugins/like.php?href=http://www.nancydeville.com/"
scrolling="no" frameborder="0"
style="border:none; width:450px; height:80px"><iframe>

Nadine, just a suggestion (even if Eric's fix works for you), clear out all the junk/unused files on your page, because they can end up lurking where they're no longer welcome! :lol: Look in your Files folder and view as thumbnails so you can see what each image is. Get rid of any images you no longer need. If you're not sure, you could move them to a different folder rather than delete them. If you moved things around and copy/pasted stuff to get your lay-out just right, you'll have a lot of generic image files; for example: IMG_123.jpg rather than my_picture.jpg.
