I'm new to this and using VSD. I'm trying to add a Wondershare Flash Gallery to my page, but I don't know how to do it or where to add the files. Thanks in advance.

Without knowing that particular Gallery software I would guess that you have to use the html tool to insert your code for it, and then under Edit you find Add files. Just click it, and look up all the files or folders that belong to your gallery. That should be it.

Just a suggestion but why not download a free trial of CC photogallery.

Then inside VSD the method of applying it is self explanitory.

Once mastered with that, duplicate the same proccess with your other chosen gallery, it should be similar.

Obviously the CC one is totally compatible so its worth trying anyway.

Started using CC VSD in January 2009, I don't do HTML code, Sales from CC site exceeding expectations taken me out of semi-retirement

According to the user guide of "your chosen software" there is an output option for HTML and SWF, you'll want to use this this option.

I recently moved to a new computer (old laptop display finally went out). I figured it was time to update all my software so I went into my account and downloaded everything again to the new computer. I own darn near every CC program there is if not all of them. (boy scout motto - always be prepared for anything :)

Anyway, I installed the new VSD and on the left hand side there are several buttons for photo gallery, etc. I click on them and it asks me if I want to download Coffee Cup Photo Gallery ... but I already have it installed (along with everything else)

I installed everything else before installing VSD ... I figured that if there was any "program detection" modules then it would make sense to do VSD last so that it would figure out what was out there.

It's not just the photo gallery ... it does the same thing with CC Web Form Builder and any of the other programs VSD seems to be able to call out to (Sitemapper, etc.)

Just for the heck of it I reinstalled everything again. Didn't seem to change anything. What am I doing wrong? :/

I bet you are on a 64-bit system. You need to go to the Settings Menu > Configure Left Hand Toolbar and point the shortcuts to the Program Files (x86) folder instead.

Yup, I'm 64 bit ... and that did the trick. I had to repoint everything to the (x86) folder. But this is my first 64bit system so I guess I can claim that I am still learning the differences ... though for a computer guy I'm kind of ashamed I didn't find the answer on my own :)

I am now a bit older and wiser.

Thanks Scott!

Well... Technically you're now 64-bits older and wiser :D

Welcome to REAL computing power ;)

And don't worry, many users going 64-bit (myself included) needed a little 'guidance' in this regards. Thankfully the great folks of CC are on top of things.
