Hi guys,
I'm attempting to publish a second website and am unsure of how to go about doing this?
I have several options of "Manage coffeecup accounts" or "manage FTP accounts"
Can someone please tell me what I need to click? I am very much a novice when it comes to website publishing, so the better detailed the instructions, the easier it will be for me.:)
Thank you.

If your using an external host and not S-Drive then click on manage ftp accounts and enter the ftp login settings your host provides with your domain. If your using CC's S-Drive enter your coffeecup account email address and password.:)
I can't hear what I'm looking at.

I think the question here relates to a SECOND website

If your using CC free sdrive account to host the first one, you first need to purchase a webbie account which will lift you from 1 website to 3 websites.

And if you are reallyyyyyyyyyyyy new to hosting, can i recommend you buy your domain name for your NEW website through CC which might save you some hair loss learning how to set all that up :)

Then in your "Manage coffeecup accounts" you just have to select the NEW or OLD site to edit or upload the one you want to each time you edit

I have several sites using the same hosting services. In the hosting sevice control panel you can setup sub-domains. For example my site is galenswebsite.com (which I don't have anything published to right now).

I have a couple sign language sites and a site for our computer club all set up as subdomains. So addresses are:
asl1.galenswebsite.com
asl2.galenswebsite.com
rascal.galenswebsite.com

You can have as many subdomains as you like and therefore can setup as many websites as you like. When you pusblish just direct your ftp program to the right folder e.g. public_html/asl1.

Personally, if using CPANEL hosting i find it easier to ADD a NEW domain as an ADDONDOMAIN rather than using sub (dot) domains

Each website then has its own unique url newdomain.com

FTP then is public_html/newdomain.com

Hi guys,
i'm finally back on and i'm trying to publish the second site now. I went into my "FTP account settings" and filled everything in. I then went to the "publish" feature again as it seemed to be completed doing it's task and now i receive and "error while uploading, the program could not create a catalog" message. It won't allow me to try and retype any of my info again, in case there was some sort of error when I had originally filled everything in. Can someone please help me?

If you go to publish and look for FTP account settings, you should find your list of ftp settings

I am guessing theres only going to be 2, check to see if the new ones are identical to the original, but for the remote folder, which should be something like public_html/newdomainname.com

If all that is correct, try turning your firewall off and see if that helps.

Thanks Viv, but I can't even access the FTP account settings area to see what the settings are. Can you please help me to figure out how to get into this section? Everytime I hit the publish feature it just keeps trying to save my site and then tells me that it cannot do so. Any help would be greatly appreciated as my site is at a stand still right now.
