I am noticing that many little files get created (named IMG-x.jpg x=some number). These appear to be generated when an object is created in VSD, or an effect is applied to an object, text, etc. It seems to be related to creating background images for these items.. i'm not sure why this is, but it causes a thought to occur. I have been using a gradient background, and Im worndering if, in general, using gradients causes more of these types of files to be created, especially when the object background doesnt match the page background?
I'm wondering if the VSD product is a bit more efficient if you use a single color for the background instead of a picture or gradient?
I am changing to a solid color now, but I still want to use the gradient to create a bottom border for the page. If the entire rest of the page is white, except for the bottom border, I assume the whole page is treated like a gradient, and not like a single color... meaning that those IMG files will continue to get created. True?
And, a final question... if I use a single color (not a single gradient), will there need to be as many of those IMG files created to support the images on the page?
