It is very easy to link to a Google Map page using the link facility but what happens is that one jumps to the relevant Google page. That is OKish but not what i want.

What i would like is to have the map appearing within an area of my webpage and to still be able to manipulate it as per a normal Google map. i have certainly seen this plenty of times on other sites.

Does anyone know how to do this? Is it even possible within VSD?

Use the html tool to insert the embed code that Google Maps provides you under the link code.

There are two sets of codes under the "link" link on the map page.
It's the second embed code that you want to use.

That worked great and i was able to customise the size of the map.

Rodqw, I only found one set of code and that worked fine. But thanks for the input anyway.

I use the second snippet, too (Paste HTML...rather than Paste Link in Email...) and choose the customise option.
