Galleries in VSD
I have updated a photo gallery and want to replace an album on the web page with the corrected one. I deleted the album from the web page and reimported the new one with flash but the old album still appeared on the website. So I deleted the page, renamed the album and imported. This worked fine but it is keeping the old files on the website directory and so I now have unused files cluttering up the directory. Is there anyway to get rid of the old files? When I delete them from the directory, they pop back as soon as I save the website (even though they are not being used). What is the correct procedure for reimporting a new album and for getting rid of unwanted files?
Thanks, Barbara

Did you use the remove flash option or did you just click delete on the object?
If you just deleted it, go to the Edit menu > remove files and you can clear them out.
If you just deleted it, go to the Edit menu > remove files and you can clear them out.

In VSD goto edit, now click on remove files, In that box scroll down and find the files that you no longer need and delete them. If you bringing in a new gallery goto the page you want it in then click on the add flash tool in the left hand panel. Now just click on your page. A window will open allowing you to browsw to where you saved your gallery files. Dbl click on the xml file and VSD should automatically add all the files for your gallery to your directories. Click publish and you should be good to go.
