Ok, thanks for the tip on Firebug.

But, I re-typed the article title "Breaking Into The Game Industry" in it's own box and the issue persists. Why is the font size and weight being overriden?

To be honest I really can't say with any certainty with all those other issues on the page.

Hiya George,

Just for future reference, when you're copying from somewhere that you want text from or links or anything for that matter, the best way to make sure you don't get all that extraneous symbols and codes that Word and other .doc type programs do is to use Notepad (not to be confused with Wordpad). Notepad uses raw text so what you see is what you get when you paste something there.

I find I need to do this when copying from the web when I want to put something into my shop software. I paste it first into the text editor Notepad (or similar) and then copy it from there. This strips out all that nasty code that messes us up. :)

Heh, no I don't borrow any content. 90% of the articles on that site are exclusives... there are a few that are reproductions that I received permission from the writers to put on my site. The ones that are reproduced are links to the original sites anyway. :)

That's cool. I was actually giving Jo Ann a hard time, as usual. :)

My bad. I should have quoted her statement. Sorry for the confusion.

Is there an easy way to correct html code in VSD? Is there a way to see the underlying code? Re-formatting all these pages is turning out to be a real pain. If I could just take out the offending font and weight tags it would save me tons of time.

Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
