Does VSD save Fonts as images? I was looking in my folders and see in the files folder my font as an image called IMG0
I am not sure where it came from.
I would like to easily and quickly convert my fonts into graphics. I bought Website Font design thinking it would do that. I guess I did not fully understand what that program does until after I bought it.
The issue with that program is that it will not always display my font properly as I want them to see it if I use that program.
While it is neat to have content there no matter what, if someone has FLASH turned off, they will see only the web font version since more than likely they will not have the Font I am using on their website.
After having a ticket about this they said I should just use VSD.
Thus my question to whether VDS actually saved my Font as an image and how to do that if so since I did not do that. The font I was using as a logo is saved as img0 but I did not save it so how did it get there? I also do not see any code for it in the html created so the file is a mystery.
If VSD will not save my font as a graphic, and Website Font does not either, is there a program that will and if so with a transparent background and save it in high resolution so I can scale it?
Thanks
Fonts as images
I know I can also just type a font in Photoshop and convert to PNG but was curious what VSD can do or how that IMG0 file was created.
If you use effects on the font, it will be converted to an image.
Ahh that explains it. I had applied it but did not apply any of the effects.
Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
