Hi Kare,
that protractor (vnu) should remain outside your website folder.
the website folder should have in it :
files folder and html pages-(index being the homepage) and any flash gallery folders music folders etc; if you have these installed. Any documents that you have linked to will in the Download folder which is located inside the files folder. If you do not have this folder in there , VSD will make one when you link a document so don't worry about that.

Only images will be inside the files folder, and images VSD renames will also be in the files folder.
here's my structure -should be the same on your comp as on server:

when first opening your site you click on the protractor thingy , that in turn will open your website and then when done editing you just click on save, should be all that's to it.

Bruzer, thanks so much for your help! I did not see these last two posts until yesterday but they sure helped!

I had thought the .vnu file should be in the website folder ---- and couldn't really get the lingo down in my head as to what the .vnu file is. (For all newbies to the software --the green protractor thingy is your .vnu--- I'm sure you techies love my description!)

I have everything back looking ok, but a last question. I have a form on one of my pages but there is no other files associated with it in my website folder. It previews ok but have a feeling it may not be right without associated flash files. Any ideas on this?

Surely do appreciate your help!
K

Hi Kare,
if you used the flash tool then all the files are automatically added to VSD , so if you had it wrong you wouldn't be able to see it in preview, unless you went to settings > add files and used the html tool.. you should be good to go! Good job!:)
