In VSD, I know you can extend the file used for the page background or you can choose a color for the extended background - but is there a way to choose a different file for the extended background area of a web page?

I have this same question... can I use a jpg image for my background fill, the part of the background which goes beyond the border of my website? Right now, the only choice I see on VSD is to have a solid background fill or to have a fill that's the same as my website background.

Not at the moment, the only way to simulate this effect would be to use a background image then place a large object on the page that will act as your main layout.
