Paintbrush and Inger.
Thanks for your help.
I have gone through the steps as outlined on Eric's website referenced in my previous post. It has not been posted to the www.rascal.cc website yet as I have not been able to get it to work.
In a previous thread I had brought up my problem and Eric tried to help me through it. Another user sadi it worked perfectly for him. Yet, I have tried many many times to follow the steps on Erics site without success.
The closest I have come is to NOT follow the steps outlined on Eric's site, but to actually copy the source code related to the jquery script from his page. I can get the photos to "rotate" but am unable to place the script on the rascal site without messing up the whole front page.
Inger, I will look at your suggestions.
I know I must be doing something little wrong, but can't figure out what.
That is why I was thinking of remote assistance for someone to help resolve the issue. It probably would not take a long time.
Thanks again,
Galen

Hi everyone, Thanks for the backup. Made it to Des Moines today. I thought Nebraska would never end.
Galen, Can you try the slide show on a test page and publish it so we can check it out?

I can't hear what I'm looking at.

Good idea, Eric.
Galen, it would be a big help to see what you are actually doing, since following Eric's instructions does produce a working slide show – something must be getting left out or misplaced.

Well I'm making progress. I downloaded Inger's file did a copy and paste to the RASCAL website, made so changes in pictures and sizes and was actually able to place it where I wanted it and get the right size.
The only thing I am missing now is the slideshow effect.
Go to www.rascal.cc
The picture toward the lower left should be doing a slide show of 18 different pictures.
All of your advice is so greatly appreciated!!

Seems that you haven't uploaded the jsquery file, it was not found on the server...

Same as with Eric's script – it wasn't on the server.
Galen, how are you adding the script to your site? I just used Eric's slideshow again. Here's what it looks like when all the files are in place:
http://i48.servimg.com/u/f48/14/58/51/55/add-fi10.png
You'll see there's a folder called 'featureslideshow' and the jquery script and image files are in that folder. So my script is named 'featureslideshow', within the script – all instances of #slideshow have been changed to #featureslideshow and all the images listed in the html also are named 'featureslideshow .......jpg'.
It looks like you have the script included in your site now, but you need to be consistent with your naming.
For example; your script is called 'slideshow' but your images all begin with 'jquery slideshow'. You need to use one name for the script and all the images that go with that script.

Guess what??? FINALLY got it to work. I was inserting jquery.js in add files and it should have been jquery-1.2.6.min.js.
All is working great now.
All I can do is say THANK ALL OF YOU!!! for helping me resolve this issue. With this knowledge I should be able to make some changes elsewhere in the same rascal.cc site.
Thank you again,
Galen
