To create websites I use russian letters (cyrillic). I used VSD 6 before and did not have any problems with encoding, but NOW.... I downloaded VSD 7, and I can not to use russian letters.

I change encoding for <META http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=windows-1251"> like I did before, now I have my text like this (i use CCDFTP):

Why does it happen?
It looks like NOW I can not to use VSD 7 (

You can insert a charset declaration by Choosing Edit - Edit header.

How were you adding these characters in version 6.06? As far as I can tell we never had support for that in any version of Visual Site Designer using the text tool.

You typed in regular letters and they ended up being converted to numerical entities?
