Editing VSD files on another computer

I have built a site in VSD on my laptop. I have the latest version downloaded as I just started working with VSD in April.

I'd like to work on the files at work on my desktop as well.

Both computers are running the same version of VSD as the program was downloaded to both computers within days of each other and both computers run Windows XP Professional.

However, when I've saved or emailed ALL of the files for the site designed in VSD, I cannot open them on the desktop at work.

I've used FTP programs, emailed the files, etc.

I get an error message saying "the website can not be read" when trying to open the files on the desktop.

What am I doing wrong?

Here's what I would do. Make sure I have all the images in the same directory as the ones I used when making the website, then I would send myself or download the vnu file as it needs this and then the website folder.
I'd put them in the "My Documents" folder (default location) and ever though I will have to re-locate them on the other computer, it should work. Remember that you should duplicate the exact locations as with the other computer.
Hope I explained that correctly. :D
