I got it to work for the page BUT, it does not work when its on the image map? ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. Thats doesn't make any sense...

Try removing this from your code.

You may want to narrow:) up your site map areas and make them a little smaller so it's easier to see the change.

Thanks but still nothing, I didn't see it on yours either, did you get it to work?

I am testing under IE 9 and Safari 5.1.7. Seems so simple but................ I really appreciate the support

I know this is going to sound dumb, but why are you using an image map for this? Can you not just have the cursor change when it hovers over the entire image rather than the complication of an image map too? Just curious if there's some other reason for the image map other than changing the cursor. If not, then you probably don't need to mess with the image map setup at all and just use the image itself for the cursor change which I'm sure would be a lot easier?

The customer requested an image map for her new novel as a way to have people learn about karma & 'comeuppance'. As part of that she asked if the pointer could be changed to a voodoo pin to keep with the Karma, voodoo theme of the novel. Sounded simple at first but..
