Clearing Old Files

Have created a Website - thanks you CoffeeCups - but although I ticked the box to delete all - still have old files left - how do I completly clear out the lot - if you google olivers design 2 print it get new website but also some of the old pages

It might just be that you have the old pages in your browser cache.
I know you believe you understand what you think I said...but I am not sure you realize that what you heard is not exactly what I meant.

No the pages are on the website, I think if the old website hade page1 and my new website had a pages1 then th old page does not get deleted or so it seems. Is there any way you can completly clear the site before I upload CoffeCup?

You're probably best off getting an FTP client so you can log into your host site, see all the files stored there, and pick and choose what to delete. CC has a nice freeware one here:

It's just as simple to use as when you set up VSD to upload to the host and, once you've logged in, you can navigate the host files just like you do your own computer with Windows Explorer. The interface will look very similar.

NOTE: If your new page had the same name as the old one when you uploaded, it did get over-written. If you're still seeing the old page you need to hold down the shift key when you click refresh page on your browser to force the browser to stop displaying from the cache and actually download the changed data.
