Our website is pretty generic and has not been updated in approximately three years. In that time, my computer was rebuilt and my prior version of Visual Site Designer was not re-installed. If I am remembering correctly, there was an option to "upload changes only".
Now have downloaded version 6.0 and have spent four days on phone with my internet provider and messages back and forth to Coffee Cup Support and still cannot upload my changes.
Every time I hit upload, it advises me that it is completed; but, when I go to our website, no changes have been made.
I really, really appreciate any assistance you all might provide.
Thank you.

Have you tried clearing your temp files and cache files?
Do you have a link?
what changes exactly so we may take a look?

Yes, I cleared the files. That was one of the suggestions I received.
Our website is salvagewarehouse.biz
Essentially, the changes were to replace the brick photo on front page and add a small amount of text below the new photo; Remove some photos and wording on second page and make some changes in other text and some rewording of text on pages 4 and 5.
Forgot to add that I use Windows XP and run Internet Explorer 8, if that makes any difference.
Thanks for responding. It just seemed so simple before. I don't remember ever having a problem --to the point that I would love to find that version to download. And I do know that's foolish --just where I am coming from with frustration.

Sorry your having such a problem!
I viewed the source and it is showing version 5.3 still. So what I would like you to try is Uninstalling VSD, restarting-and re-installing version 6.6, then open your website with the current version, it will probably ask you if you would like to upgrade website to the current version, or something like that, whatever it asks answer only "yes" please. Then try an upload again.
Another thing you can try as well if that does not cure it, or you may want to do this before installing the new version download this CCleaner http://www.piriform.com/ then open that before restarting and after the uninstall - select registry- scan issues-whatever shows up select fix with no backup. then install the new version.

Thanks. I'm going to go do all of that. I do have CCleaner and used it to remove all temp files, etc. Off to go try things. Thanks.
Please let us know how it goes!

Didn't change anything. However, I did notice one thing. Because I'm being told that things have been uploaded, I have not gone to the "Test Internet Connection" instruction. When I go to that and click "Ok", nothing happens. Do not know if that indicates any problem or not.
I really, really appreciate all of this help --hate to be a nuisance, but the main point of my change on website is quite important.

Well how about trying to use direct ftp or filezilla and manually upload your website?
Here's the question that I know the answer to lol, are you sure your uploading to the correct directory?
sorry!

Before this last removal and reinstall, I did download and attempt to upload with an FTP program. As to your question about directory, I am a little concerned about the www name. It was basically obtained from a tech assistant of my provider with a process of elimination. Only reason I think it is right is that prior to its insertion I was getting a message that program could not create a catalog. After its insertion I no longer got the error message.
I'm going to try once again to upload from FTP program and then call it a night --too frustrated.
Once again, thanks for all your help.

If you still don't get it to work using the ftp, then I suggest putting in a support ticket , where they can get some info from you and look at your set up for you.
Good Luck
