I just switched to windows 7...Now I re-installed VSD and now it says I can't save. Literally an error comes up and says can not save home page.
Have you guys seen this? What can I do?

Eric, this has come up before. What version of VSD are you using? Make sure you have the latest build installed - does it still happen?

Yes latest build just downloaded it. I did a hard install of windows seven and re-installed VSD from the coffee cup website. I have tried installing and re-installing three times...then I came here.
A few people had this problem with a previous VSD version. Here's a discussion about it:

But since you're version is up to date, I think I would put in a support ticket. Let us know what you find out

I can't even open vsd...and if it does open I can't save my files.
Here is what I I have done.
1. I was having trouble with errors and virus/malware but vsd was working fine.
2. I upgraded from XP to windows 7 on a clean install on my computer.
3. I came to coffee cup website to re-download latest build of vsd.
4. The VSD software doesn't want to open and if it does it wont save the file.
5. Every thing else seems to be running well on my computer.
What are my options?

Did you try this.
1. Right-click the shortcut icon, and click Properties.
2. Click the Compatibility tab.
3. Here, put a check mark by Run This Program as an Administrator.
4. Next, put a check mark next to Run This Program in Compatibility Mode For: and ensure Windows XP Pro Service Pack 2 is selected.
5. Click OK

Are you using the Publish button in VSD or an outside FTP program?

publish button in vsd.
Have you published to the same account/web host before? Double checked your FTP settings saved in VSD? It seems as if the site is getting sent to the wrong place - ..... just clicked your link again. Looks like you got it figured out
...never mind
