Win7 using VSD ver 7 (24) Trial


Hi Guys
Made index page saved and upload no problem. When I open VSD again I can see index page on the dropdown recent files and I can see if I open "File" "Open website" ... fine and expected. When I have made next page new name and ID save and publish .. all ok. The problem I have is I can't then find the vnu file anywhere to be able to open to view/alter that second page. not showing on recent files, not showing in "Open Website", not found when I do Windows 7 "search.
How do I get to it ?

Did you do a search for .vnu?

Yes... I can see index.vnu but there is no page1.

Just thinking do I have to "save as" when I have made the second and subsequent pages. The help file just says press "Save" icon and I would think it was saving as I named the page in the "page properties" box.??

The first page of a website is always going to be index.html.
Any pages after that can be pretty much anything you like but some characters aren't allowed. It's best to keep your page names short and simple.

Have been trying for hours now... just don't get it, am getting so frustrated with it. I have index page open, I want to "add page" so it tells me that index has to close, new blank page then opens ... all good so far. I write test on page and save... properties box has new page title and page ID.I shut down VSD. I come back and want to work on the new page....... how do I get to it?
On this occasion it was page title"test6". ID was "page6" (now)
I have finished with index page I want to do things on page2/3/4/5/6 but I don't know how to get to them.
Shouldn't I get to them somehow from clicking "file" ?
Shouldn't I be able to find a vnu file for pages 2/3/4/5/6,? there is only index.vnu I can find.

I know it's going to be simple.... I can feel it in my water.

If the index page and the pages 1 to 6 are in the same site, there is only one .vnu for the whole project.

Ok only one vnu for whole project... I want do something on page 4 say. How do I get to work on page 4?

At the top click on "Show Page" then select the page you want.
