Hi-
I just purchased VSD and started the tutorial. The theme used doesn't appear to be included in my download, at least I can't find it. It's called "Ezra Pound".
Is there a theme included in the download that would be best to use for the tutorial (that includes the described "Read More" link, for example), or is "Ezra Pound" available somewhere? I don't really want to purchase another theme already, but I would like to follow the tutorial step-by-step, since I'm very new to this.
Thanks!
-Susan

If you click on "File" in VSD then "New Website From Theme" you will get a choice of the available themes for VSD currently installed on your PC. Take a look at those to see if they meet your needs.

I can't hear what I'm looking at.

Hi Eric-
Thanks, yes, I knew how to do that. I just expected the theme that was used for the tutorial to be among those listed. It doesn't really matter, I went ahead with a different one, but I wonder why they didn't just use one of the themes a new user would have available or include the one they did use.
No biggie.
Thanks again-

I'm with Susan G on this. Why base a first tutorial on something the customer can't use? How dumb is that?
Hi Richard. I don't have that theme either but it was probably picked because it would cover most VSD themes.

Well, not to belabor the point (okay, maybe just a little!
), but typically, tutorials take you step-by-step through procedures with illustrations so you can replicate exactly what you see. I don't see any reason why they couldn't have just used a theme that was readily accessible. At the very least, they could have said "You won't find this theme in your list, so just pick another".

This is indeed interesting. A search for Ezra Pound displays an HTML Editor theme but no VSD theme.
CoffeeCup... Yeah, they are the best!
Here's an idea - use the 'Steve Reich' theme (VSD7), it comes with the program. It's very similar to the 'Ezra Pound' theme in lay-out.
