I have been using VSD for over a year now and once in a while had some trouble uploading the website to the hosting server. Never have been able to figure out why I would get "There was an error uploading" but eventually it would go, after a few attempts....UNTIL this week. I have attempted to upload my website about 100 times now and I get the error every time. VSD seems to 'die' at a different point each time. Sometimes it gives the error just a little ways into the upload and other times it dies when the site is most likely almost completely uploaded. THIS IS MADDENING! Could it be a timeout problem? There is no way that I can see to increase or turn off the time-out on the server from inside VSD. Somebody told me you could do this with Filezilla but couldn't find it there either.I have talked to the hosting people. I have used other FTP progs to upload to the host server., There is no problem with any of these. I thought I had successfullyt uploaded the website using FILEZILLA but apparently something is badly screwed up inside VSD. I tried both of the Coffeecup FTP progs I have but they would both crash! I uninstalled VSD and reinstalled. I rebooted several times. NOTHING I DO works! HELP!
