The my portfolio, is one technique using CC photogallery, the other client ones also using CC but different technique

Make each gallery, and then select them in VSD using the flash tool,(rather than gallery inbuilt ftp) it uploads all files in correct place for you.
Started using CC VSD in January 2009, I don't do HTML code, Sales from CC site exceeding expectations taken me out of semi-retirement

Like Viv said, add your gallery to VSD using the flash tool, then upload your site using VSD.
