Hello.

Trying to figure out how to burn my website onto a CD. So that, when you put the CD into a computer the first thing that would pop up would be the homepage - and then a user would navigate as normal.

Is this possible?

( the purpose is to use the website I've already built as a CD portfolio of sorts)

I can't tell you exactly "how" to do what you're asking, but I can tell you that it should be doable. What you need to find out is how to create an autorun file that would automatically open the index.html file on the CD. That would make it do what you're wanting it to do I would think.

Anyone else maybe have an idea how to do this?

There are lots of good autorun softwares out there that are designed for this very purpose:

Just type "auto run" into Google. And you won't need the .vsd file in the disk, just the HTML pages.
