Background image not showing up

I've been using VSD for years now, and overall, am very happy with it. This is the first time I've tried using a background image, and it's just not working. I've got the website all set up, and insert the background image using the Settings, Background Fill Properties. It shows perfectly in Preview, but when I publish the website, the background is white. I used a stand alone FTP program to place the file, yellowbackground.gif into the Files directory, but it still doesn't show up when the site is published. Am I missing something? Please help.

This is the site -- www.roniandrebekkah.com.

Thanks.

Jamie, You don't need to use an external ftp program to place the background image for your site. Pick your image as you stated you did and let VSD all the work.:) I looked at your code and the page is telling me that the background should be white. background-color: #ffffff; Try re-syncing your site.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.

I understand that I shouldn't have to use an external ftp program, but when I used the VSD feature, it didn't work, so I thought maybe I needed to put the file in the directory. I see that the page is telling us that the background should be white, but that's the bug. I have the yellow polkadot background selected, and it shows up fine in Preview, but when I Publish or ReSync, it still shows white.

Any other ideas?

Where is the original image located on your pc that you used to set your background.

In the same general area as the other files I use. Under the client folder.

You also need to upload your website files as well. If you look at all of your pages, the last modified date is from the 10th:

<meta name="created" content="Wed, 10 Aug 2011 20:41:22 GMT">

If you are uploading things manually, you always need to upload 100% of your website each time otherwise you run the risk of missing some files.

I'm using the Publish button, and not doing anything differently than before. Any particular reason that Publish and Re-Sync aren't actually doing what they are supposed to be doing?

It's uploading (again) right now. Going through hundreds of files. Same as the last few times today and yesterday. Still won't work.

Call me a liar...lol, but of course, this time it worked. So annoying when it does that. Seriously, I've published it 5 times and it didn't show up, but did just now. Thanks for all the input guys.

One issue I did notice, the last time you published you were using build 24. This time you published, you were using build 19. It appears you have two versions of VSD installed.

I would recommend uninstalling both versions and then download the latest version from our website and install that.
