Bio: Hi, my name is Mel Smith and I have been working with computers for over 30 years,
starting my career in 1973. Yes, I have been around that long. I have worked in computer operations, done software development, system administration, network design and administration, software and hardware test, software support, and managed IT operations and telecommunications.
In early 2006, I started working on teaching myself web design. I started by working on
