Bio: My name is Russell and, at 72 years of age, I am a retired Radio and Telecommunications Engineer.
I was born and brought up in the West Highlands of Scotland but, as many before me and probably since, had to leave as there was no work locally and I had a desire to see the world.
My work life contained two portions. 1st. As a Radio/Electronics Officer in the British Merchant Navy and 2nd. As a Radio and Telecommunications project engineer in the Oil and Gas industry.
Now that I have time on my hands, I am dabbling with creating a website of my holiday travels. It is taking up much of my time!
I now live in Ayrshire on the Southwest coast of Scotland. -
