Thanks, I completely missed the one in the java script. It's working now. :)

Did you see my other question about why my form is not sending the "auto response message" to the person who submitted the form? I have that box checked in settings and it's set to send that message to [email] which is the name of the email form field.

Ok, I don't know what the problem was, but I basically just started over on the auto response settings and re-exported and it works now. But after your last message, I learned that I can add a name in the From field on the messages.

From your link:
Example of name and email address: Team Leader <team@coffeecup.com>

However, when I do that, I'm getting an error message. I attached a screen shot so you can see exactly what's happening.

The email actually has to exist. Does it?

yes, that's my real email address. And in the screenshot, you can't see the closing > after the .com but it's there.

It works when I remove my name and the <> and only use the email address. But it would be nice for the people receiving the emails to see my real name, not just the first name in my email address.

Only put in myemailname@mydomain.com
Set another email up that has
firstnamelastname@mydomain.com and have it forward to your other email.

It works when I do that and that's how I've had it. But I would really like to be able to include my name as shown in your example on your help page. Right now, when I receive a message, it says its from "david" and it looks much more professional to say from "David Thames".

See the screenshot on this page.

I can set up another email, but this doesn't fix what a recipient sees from the auto responder. In that case they would see that the email is from davidthames not from "David Thames". If the program is supposed to allow that, isn't there a way to make it work?

Sorry about that I didn't even see that set that way.
I just use my email. I would open a support ticket. Also make sure you have the most recent version.
