Is anyone satisfied at what you make...

I don't know if anyone will answer this thread, but just interested if who is really doing well at affiliate marketing. I have discussed this with some who claim making $7000-$10000+ per month, and wondered if anyone on here has ever seen that range?

This includes google adwords, commission junction, godaddy, hostgator, and excludes what you make on web design, graphics, hosting, etc.

I think one issue with some of 'third party' companies you market for is getting paid, but the more reputable companies will pay out like a charm.

I was also interested in what the most someone is making when aff marketing - advertising for Coffeecup software?

Just curious :)

Interesting question and I would also be interested in the answer.

I take it since you are asking you aren't making that much yourself?

I was looking at the coffee cup affiliate program but couldn't find any details apart from having to fill in a form to join. I got half way through filling in the form and then thought..."too hard" and I wasn't happy committing to something that I had no details about.

So if I can tag onto your question and ask if anyone is doing the coffee cup affiliate program and willing to share how it works and what the amount per sale or click is and whether they have made any money from it?

I am sure I will be sending customers here but would be nice to get a little incentive too...even if it was only a discount on my future purchases :)
I know you believe you understand what you think I said...but I am not sure you realize that what you heard is not exactly what I meant.

I didn't even know Coffee Cup HAD an affiliate program.

I have Google ads installed on my DisneySubmarines.com web site, which is heavily trafficked in my opinion. Gets around a thousand unique visitors per week, but I only make $200 - $300 per YEAR from my Google ads. That's because, even with what I consider to be heavy traffic, only a small percentage of people actually click through the ads. For the whole month of December I made a total of $3.73 in Google ads and for January, so far, I have made a total of 99 cents! Of course when the Submarine ride first opened at Disneyland I was making $10-$15 per DAY in Google ads, but that was very short lived. Didn't hurt either that CNBC.com did a story on the Submarines and linked to my website! I believe that's where most of my traffic came from during the time I was making all that money:

There ARE sites that make six figures on Google ads but those are sites that provide dynamic content or that provide services so the same people have reason to visit the site multiple times in a day or week.

My DisneySubmarines site has lotsa great content, but someone can experience the whole site in 2-3 hours and then have no reason to come back because the site is not updated frequently.

It's such a good product-- am going boost some marketing strategies and see what happens. I think an issue is everyone in web designers/IM gets bombed constantly and filters a lot of the stuff. I also have a couple of domains roosting that hopefully will go online later this year.

update: I am just beginning to get some conversions(click throughs) with cc that's more inline with some of the other products I affiliate for. Hopefully the trend will increase this month.

I had signed up to do the aff marketing in the past with a few places, but a made soooooo little and my sites have so little traffic that it just was not worth it to me. I have just "gone" live with my 2 stores and was re-considering the Aff program (with CC) and am also courious as to the sale/click rate.

Is that ture? make $7000--$10000 per month? I really want to know the answer.
