I notice that the counter even counts visits to the Russian site as well as counts to your site.

Yes, he has copied the code to the counter along with the rest of it. That was how I was able to find out about it.

The translation tool that Mike found above worked so that I was able to read the text. There is nothing in the site yet - but my page - but I would like to follow this site and see what content they are going to enter.

But if you could find someone who can tell me how to dial to be able to speak with the site owner, I'd be grateful. I know nothing about Russian phone numbers, so whether the given number above, +370 0472 661581, contains any trunk codes or not, I haven't got a clue. From Norway we dial 00 for international, then 7 for Russia, but what then? When trying that combination I got nowhere. I could very well imagine a chat with that guy and tell him a thing or two about respecting other people's work.

I'll appreciate any help to get my stuff off that page.

I spoke with one of our employees from the Ukraine and showed her the phone number. She googled for international dialing codes and 370. 370 is the country code for Lithuania.

Try using that 00 370 0472 661581 and see if that gets you a live person.

If that does not work, we have a student from Lithuania that may be of some help.

Inger, in the US we have a law called the Digital Millenium Copyright Act. Under it, you can file a 'take down' notice to the host of any website that contains material protected by US copyright. The host has no choice but to comply or be liable for infringement. I've never seen a host not yank the site down in a heartbeat.

A little judicious Googling into Norwegian copyright law may provide you with the law you need to file a similar notice with the host of the Russian site.
