here I am again having the same problem, there has to be something that I'm doing wrong. I'm at the point where I avoid any changes to my sites and I DREAD having to do any because it's hours of trying to get it to publish. I did the fix registry steps and all the others steps that Scott told me before but still cannot publish and I get the same big box of errors that say to disable firewall (did that) etc.

I checked all my ftp account info etc.

I have to get this published soon it's not my site and the main pic on the front page isn't showing up.

thanks :|

Have you tried to upload your files using DirectFTP or Filezilla? Or just using the VSD publish?

Load up DirectFTP and see if you can access your server. That'll tell you if you have the server info right or not. If you can get on then just navigate to where you saved your website and upload all the files. This may take longer than normal as it won't upload just the 'changed' files, but they should all upload. If you have a lot of graphics, or if you know which specific files you've changed, you can just upload them.

If you don't have it, just download the trial.

Now, if you cannot get on with DFTP, then you still have something wrong in your settings and it's not VSD. You'll have to get with your service provider and double check your settings. If this still does not work you may want to get with Scott and give him your server settings and see if he can log on and access your server. That would tell you if its your settings, your server or you. Don't post any setting here. Not secure.

Let us know how it goes.

I uploaded the missing pic to my hosting on Godaddy so crisis averted. I would love to know how to publish as this is a new problem and I've been using VSD for 3-4 years now. Thanks ya'll.
