Cannot Upload Site That I Made Using...

Hi,

I just spent alot of time making a site using the Visual Site Designer software and now when I go to upload it to my FTP it says internet connection can not be established. I am using namecheap.com host and my website is behrbavariangarden.com does anybody know what is going on?

I am having the same problem with 5.8.5. when I test I gets
Testing Server and Logon OK
Testing Folder Creation OK
Testing Upload...ERROR
an unknowned error has occurred

I use CoffeeCup Photo Gallery and CoffeeCup Web Form Builder I can upload those files with no problem

Hi, I get the same error using Yahoo but I can still upload, is that the same with you guys? or are you just using the testing.

James who you hosting with may I ask?
try adding / in the www slot or public_html
give those a try please....


behr in your www slot in VSD you would put /public_html

DanaCom Host, I tried public_html,www, all of that...Linux Server. It's strange, I can upload within all of CoffeeCup program except this one

in the intial host folder for those other programs, what is in them?
meaning www slot-- Detroit based cool!

I have quit of bit of folders and html,xml,I use lots of CoffeeCup software files, I think I read that Visual Site create it on folder and files. public_html/files I don't have a folder name file or files.

James, you are correct, VSD does make a folder called files, in that folder are all your images you place on your website, they are renamed for example purposes img_0 to whatever. Also in that folder is a folder called Downloads, now that folder is basically for any documents or such outside of VSD, it makes a copy of that and places it there.
I think if your place /public_html in the www slot you should be able to connect. If you are able to connect that would be your root directory which is where you need to have your website uploaded to. I don't know about Danacom but maybe they have a tutorial like namecheap does and it will show you what the name of the root folder would be. just guessing here sorry.

I can upload with my FTP uploader. yes my root is public_html
I think it is something within CoffeeCup Visual Site Designer software. I can upload to my server through CoffeeCup HTML Editor. I will keep trying until I get it.
