Count letters or all characters?
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

I would want to count all characters like Twitter but I would want to limit the field to say 250-300 characters including spaces and punctuation.

All of the text input fields have the ability to limit the number of chars in the options on the right. Look for the box called Max Length, that is the number of chars you limit it to. You can do this with almost any input field including number fields as well. :)
