What a gorgeous site paintbrush! Earthy sets it off for ya.

Thank you, Eric!
I've just about finished another artist's site. This was my first go with the CC Shopping Cart too. This was created in VSD (except for the non-CC gallery):

http://www.maryloubarrow.com/

It was loading kind of slow today - any ideas or suggestions are more than welcome!
Thanks, Callie

One option is to make sure all of your graphics are optimized. You can use CC pix converter to help with that. If you haven't already you can optimize your html using coffeecup code cleaner located in their html editor. Also, make sure your CSS is optimized as well. Use shorthand code whenever possible. All of this together will help with the loading process.

VSD produces some funky sluggish code sometimes, which is unlike what you might be used to in a tradition html editor.
Hope some of this helps. :D

Thank you, Jo Ann. Next step will be trying out some html/css in the CC Editor. It's so easy to get things exactly how I want them in VSD, but I want to have more control over the whole site, not just the "face" of it. I'll be snooping around in everyone's websites to see how you all write your code!:D

This is my latest project:

hobartkidz.com

I revamped my tired website using the html editor. I'm really happy with how it turned out, except for not being able to centre some images.

The gallery affect that I was after the other day I've used on the Playground photos.

Nice work there, Tassietiger. It seems to be very well organized - and layed out so it will be easy to add in more info as needed. I like the photo effect you mentioned (where the larger photos appear when one scrolls over the smaller images). The whole site has a clean, uncluttered look that makes it easy to take in a lot of information without feeling overwhelmed or confused about where to look for something. ;)

Nice site tassie, I love the whole idea behind what your site is about too, I don't think I see much of that anymore and I remember when I was a kid all the local programs we had for things to do. Very cool idea :)
