. . . There is a free program that can create thumbnails in whatever size you want them and even can give them a little style should you want it, it's called EZThumbnails and it's free for personal or business use. You can get it here:

That's a nice little program. Just downloaded. I always seem to have my graphics program open, but this is one I will recommend for my web design customers

Just got this up-loaded today:

http://cynthiadanielle.com/

Made it with VSD, flash photo gallery, and form builder. I know I'm missing a few image files, but other than that, I'm wondering how it shows up? Would especially like to hear from anyone on a Mac or Linux computer. It's messed up on my Linux netbook; seems Times New Roman isn't a standard Linux font.
Any suggestions/ideas?

Thanks,
Callie

Hi, Callie!

Your website looks great!

One comment regarding the contact information on your site - you have no way to contact via email. Was that by design?

And, you say you did this all using CC software - primarily VSD and flash photo? Including the menus and navigation? Wow!

If you wouldn't mind, I would love to talk to you off-list about how you did this! I have been struggling with VSD and HTML-editor to put together what I think is a pretty simple website. I haven't found any VSD (or HTML-editor) templates that I like, and I am probably over-thinking the process of creating my own template so that the look and feel of each page is the same.

I've used CC HTML-editor in the past on a frames-based website I (painfully) put together, but I don't want to go through *that* exercise again.

My next approach is to design a single web page (html + style sheet?) and replicate that. I also haven't figured out how to create multiple-level pull-down, or pull-over menus.

Suggestions gratefully received!

Thanks!

Thank you Douglas!
I left Cynthia's email off so she wouldn't have to go through dozens (hundreds?) of spam messages every day. If potential clients want to talk to her, they can use the form or telephone her. She personally gives her email address to clients.
I had thought about putting it on there as an image, but we'll see how things go with the form for awhile.
And yes, it's all Coffee Cup : VSD, Flash-Photo and Web-Form.
You can contact me "off-list" at: callie-at-callendale-designs-dot-com
I made the mistake of listing my email on my first website, now clearing spam has become a chore to be done 2 or 3 times a day!

Hi, Callie!

Thanks for the reply to my post. I hadn't considered the SPAM issue when it comes to email; and didn't see the contact form - which is now corrected on Cynthia's site...

I plan to create a "disposable" email address anyway for my project, and will likely use that in conjunction with CC web form.

Thank you for the reply and the help!

First website I've ever made. It's been an experience. Coffeecup has been a great tool.

Nice site, and good for memories. I grew up in P'cola.
