Hey Form Builders!

We hope you're enjoying the software thus far. Your feedback has been immensely helpful. We have an update here that addresses a few of the issues reported over the past few days. Nothing entirely too sexy, but nonetheless still pretty cool.

So what cool stuff has been added to Web Form Builder (Build 2986) in this update? Here’s an overview:
  • Added element font color for radio and checkbox options
  • Fixed issue with images referencing AppData folder
  • Fixed issue with hover images not referencing correctly
  • Fixed issue with file names of uploads not appearing in CSV file
  • Fixed issue with Error Messages displaying incorrectly in some browsers
  • Fixed font color for Email verification box label
  • Updated Quick Start Guide
  • Updated instructions on "Form Exported" dialog to make things clearer

So with that, we hope you enjoy these enhancements. To download this update, please go to My Products from within your account. Once the software list appears, click the "download" button next Web Form Builder.

Enjoy!

One problem that I see.
Take Email for example.
Add Email Address Element
Say you have a Dark Blue Font set in Form Properties
You pick a Dark Green Font for Email Address
If you check Verify, the CONFIRM will be printed in Dark Blue Font instead of the Dark Green like the Email Address Heading above it.

That actually was one of the new features in this update. ;)

New feature was to NOT be able to change it? Because I'm running the new update. Unless there is a problem with not starting over, and using an old file. I did delete the old Email Element, and add it back, just to see if I could get it to change without changing the Form Font color.

TheY both use the same font color automatically now. If it isn't working for you, please open a support ticket and send us your .fb file and I can take a look at the settings.

Hi, y'all,

I do hope you are all enjoying (or enjoyed) Thanksgiving?

This isn't urgent but I've come across a problem.

I have created a predefined *.txt list in notepad for displaying Skip Prices in a drop down list.

However, as I'm in England, we use the pound sterling (£) currency sign but if I enter this into the list, the whole list will not appear!

It works fine with the $ sign or @ % & #.... etc. but not £.

For example;

A list consisitng of:-

Skip 1..... @ $100.00
Skip 2..... @ $200.00
Skip 3..... @ $300.00

is saved as Prices.txt.

Prices appears in the 'List' pane of the Predefined Options Selector and when selected, the data appears in the 'Options' pane..... Great!

But, if I alter it to:-

Skip 1..... @ £100.00
Skip 2..... @ £200.00
Skip 3..... @ £300.00

Prices appears in the 'List' pane of the Predefined Options Selector but when selected, no data at all appears in the 'Options' pane..... Not so Great!

I suspect it has something to do with the predefined list aspect, as the £ sign WILL appear if I manually enter as Option 1, Option 2, Option 3, in the Drop Down/Properties/Options Box as below:

Option 1 overwritten as: Skip 1.... @ £100.00
Option 2 overwritten as: Skip 2.... @ £200.00
Option 3 overwritten as: Skip 3.... @ £300.00

Works fine...... Spooky!!

Any Ideas?

Cheers

Confirmed. I will log this with our developers and see if we can get this fixed by the final release.

Hi Scott,

Have I missed a solution to this problem?

If not, I will manually enter the data for now to enable me to get the new form live.

Cheers

OR

I see that entering £ into Notepad in place of £ seems to work!

In my previous version of webform builder I could edit my existing forms by opening the xml file. I can no longer do this. Looks like it has to be only .fb file format.

I have lots of forms created using the xml of previous version forms. Do I have to recreate all these forms again to use this?

Unfortunately that is not possible. The Flash and HTML versions are completely different programs. There is no way to use any of the themes or saved forms created in the Flash version with the HTML version. You will need to recreate the form from scratch.

Hey Scott. I know that you may not want to answer this, but I'll ask anyway. :)
Do you have any target date for the Payments? That you are at liberty to share.....
