Just an FYI that Form Builder apparently doesn't like Win8. I've tried running form builder as admin in various compatibility modes and nothing has worked. I'm running the latest form builder (4638) and Win8 Release Preview.

One thing I would definitely suggest is that you report this to CC rather than just here on the forums. Although the staff of CC does peruse the forums, it's not guaranteed that they will see every post that is attempting to report a bug. Always best to put in a support topic to make sure they get the information and can confirm the bug or help you work out what's possibly wrong on your end. Good luck on it. :)

We have actually tested all of our software on Windows 8 and they run great. ;)

I replied to the support ticket too. Attached is the message that pops up when I try to save a template file or a file I've created myself.

I'm running Win8 Build 8400 too and my other Coffee Cup programs work fine with it. So if not Win8 then it must be something else I'm running....

That is an issue with Windows itself. See their support article here at http://support.microsoft.com/kb/175500

The wording has changed slightly but it is the same issue.

Edit: Looks like that will not work with Windows 8 now. We will keep an eye on this and make sure by the time the official release of Windows 8 comes, that there are no issues.
