Web Calendar ... repeat feature needs...
The Web Calendar has some neat features. But, the "repeating events" feature allows only a repetition on a certain date .... I need it to repeat on the day, as in "2nd Monday" or "4th Friday". This omission makes the Calendar a whole lot less desirable, even awkward.

I agree!!

I agree also.
I assume that since this was first posted in 2006 with no updates this has not yet been addressed?

I'd also love to see the ability to delete one instance of a repeated event. The way it is now, all the instances get deleted.
Totally agree. The lack of this feature makes the Calendar useless for my purposes. I want to post meetings and events for our organizations and the majority of them are on the same day of the week, not the same day of the month. "Second Tuesday" etc.
Have a look at all the options we have in Google Calendar:

Have you tried the newest release of the calendar Cecil? I don't know for sure if that feature is there, just asking since this post is a year old from the last post on it and started in 2006. If you're talking about the newest one you should go to the thread that has suggestions for that in it rather than here, you'll probably get more notice there
I agree with the previous posters that the ability to specify a repeating event to fall on 'the second Friday of the month', etc., would be most beneficial.
For the record, Web Calendar 5 now does afford the calendar creator to delete either one or all instances of a repeating event. I'd like to see this enhanced a bit further, allowing the same Windows-standard selection options for specifying a range of events with the Shift key, or non-contiguous ones with the Control key.
I would also like to see the ability to turn of the "To" field. Meetings for the two clubs for which I make calendars are open-ended, and specifying "All-Day Event" yields identical "From" and "To" times, which is superfluous and doesn't make a lot of sense
Perhaps changing "From" to "Start" or "Time" and offering the ability to inhibit the "To" field in these instances, would be helpful.
In all, I like the enhancements that came with this version, and am appreciative of CoffeeCup's attention and generous software update policy.

Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
