You should try the trial versions and see. The HTML Editor doesn't make proper use of Vista's user folders, so it's not currently of any use to me. For now I'm just waiting for the next version. I'm not familiar with the other pieces of software.

For what it is worth, I have no trouble with my XP Pro X64 system.

I think even Microsoft has realized that Vista is more trouble than it is worth.

We can only hope that Windows 7 will work a lot better. My son-in-law is using the public beta and is very happy with it.

Rodney, I'd definitely go with Cary's suggestion of testing out the trial versions of the apps you'd most likely use. My previous post was in 2007 and at that time, the brand name computers in stores were still holding back on 64bit (mostly offering up to 3GB of RAM). I haven't yet tested all CoffeeCup software thoroughly with 64bit, but I've yet to see any real issues.
