On every forum I'm on(several), you can edit post for at least 20-30minutes. On Coffeecup's forum, it stopped and just wondering why? Normally, this is basic functionality of a forum. I'm use to the edit after the post. I have ask mods to combine a post that I could not edit with no help? What's up with this? I understand Coffeecup has to watch spammers putting in aff links, but I would say after a hundred post or so, someone should be moved to a more trusted group until they prove you wrong. If it's a proactive move by Coffeecup for spam prevention, I think it's just a tad much. There's not an issue with any of my post on the Coffeecup forum and just wondering as a faithful member.

Giggles - i think theres a short period after posting when you can edit your own posts - but i cant remember how long it is.... so proofread fast

lol, the edit button must be showing in the millisecond range...I mean the edit button doesn't show up at all for me in most cases. I have become just a little spoiled in that I type my post, proofread(always miss something), post, edit, edit,edit....

I understand why they give a timelimit - it's so people cant change their answers after someones already replied and make the reply look odd
