I just got a new high end Dell XPS730x with 1.5 T of HD, and a Intel Core i7 chipset.

I re downloaded all of my CoffeeCup software and you know that little ditty you hear after downloading..

"I love Coffee in a cup"?

It does not sound like the old southern guys voice but a badly garbled computer like voice with lots of static.

What can that be?

Thanks.

Sounds like you have hardware/software issue that's eating up your CPU usage. I read something in another post about some hardware difficulties. I would try the following:

1) Virus scan using a online scanner(not the one installled on your drive if you help it).

2)Uninstall software that may not be compatible or keep a active process(es) running and using up your CPU(these are usually very large programs and may evolve handling graphics/video).

3) If you have installed/reinstalled the operating system, check to make sure all the drivers for your hardware are installed.(there are online applications that you can download that will do this for you).

It doesn't sound at all like a coffecup problem and hopefully maybe you can get it resolved without replacing hardware.

Could be something within your computer or speakers. I have just downloaded two of the programmes, and the voice was just like before. Test other audio bits and see if they also sound like garbled.

Thanks for the responses :D, but...

"Sounds like you have hardware/software issue that's eating up your CPU usage"

Doubt it...

My CPU is an Intel® Core™ i7-940 (2.93GHz, 8MB cache) which is top of the line.

6GB Tri-Channel DDR3 at 1066MHZ (3x2GB DIMM) , 1.5 T Hd's, dual NVidea Gt9800's, Sli enabled, Creative SB X-FI, dual blue ray burners, etc.It is brand new with almost nothing on the HD.

I don't download anything but purchased programs.

No warez, porn, music, movies, or emails ( only read emails sent by friends, never click on any of them).

I also run Macafee suite and always run scans. The PC is only a week and half old.

All of my other sounds are fine.

Just the CoffeeCup ditty.

Odd, ain't it?

Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
