I remember back when a requirement of any web marketing was to create a squidoo page (CC had a really nice one). But about 2 years ago, I removed some spammers that I had on my pages, and the spammers apparently complained about my content and the giant squids (on squidoo that meant they had editing power) were reviewing the page in question. The next thing I know my page was removed for bad content, even though I corrected the issues they pointed out.
I was happy all the other pages stayed up because of the backlinks that was from a domain that had like a 84(?) authority ranking on MOZ.
Now it seems like it's time to pursue Hubpages even more, but I will miss the simplicity of squidoo in generating blogs and positive traffic.
Did anyone else lose pages on squidoo after they switched over to Hubpages?
