I need a host for my personal / resume website. I have my business stuff on justhost, which I'm fine with, but I have to pay up front for 36 months and I really don't want to do that right now. I don't have to have a ton of space or anything, and I just want something that I can use along with my resume. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks
Amy

Amy,

There are a number of inexpensive hosts available. I use 1and1 and have had great service from them.

I have a site I maintain on GoDaddy.

Both of these offer specials for new customers.

I have also heard of others, but do not remember their names. I am sure some others will post their favorites.

If your just wanting to post a couple of pages, use 000webhost or zyrmic. They both offer free hosting.

I know zyrmic has been around a while and they also offer free templates.

I use 000webhost on some projects and have had no complaints.

Check this place out. www.3iX.com
I have been with them for nearly a year and a half. They are only approx $1 a month for a simple site. comes with 40gb space and 100gb bandwidth. I use the next package up which allows me to run 3 sites with unlimited bandwidth for only $3 a month. I have a link to them on my site if you would like to have a look. I am on a loyalty program so if you use my link to sign up I get a small kick back, thanks. Go to www.mbs.id.au for the link or go direct if you wish to www.3ix.com

At the risk of sounding negative, DO NOT go to Earthlink. i just escaped from there. :o

I found APLUS, which may be a bit pricey, but i find they are very supportive of someone like me who is just a beginner, and right now, I need alot of patience and help.

The service was fast, efficient, and not at all judgemental.

If you buy your domain from GoDaddy they will give you a FREE economy hosting plan. There will be an ad on it, but if it's for a personal site maybe you don't care...
