For hosting, HostNexus is working well for me. My domains are from Namecheap. I do recommend - as many people do - buying domains and hosting from different providers.

Update: APlus continues to be extremely helpful. You may be much more advanced than I am, but their help has been quite valuable. Never a stability problem. Fast service, and they wait until after i am gone before they laugh at me!:lol:

You really have to shop around for hosting providers, as prices can vary by a factor of ten, for exactly the same package.

They will all claim superior service, minimal downtime plus superfast servers, but that's not always what customers get when they've actually signed up.

There are many independent hosting review sites on the net that will give you feedback from current and past users of hosting companies.

Always choose a host that offers a 14 day, or 30 day money back guarantee.

I use hostgator as they are cheap enough and offer both annual and monthly payment schedules.

I've recently changed over to a small hosting company called magmahost. Significantly cheaper than some of the other host providers out there, but their service has been beyond reproach.

I host a dozen or so sites with Hosterio.com; they have a plan for 11 US dollars per year with unbelievable features and extras, far superior to anything I have seen anywhere else.
