I need a user friendly calendar for a web site. Members of the web site need to have access to make changes on a regular basis. Is this possible?

Not with the Coffeecup one it's not sorry Jo. The CC Calendar is pretty nice all around, but unfortunately it's not editable outside of using the program to do changes and then uploading the changes.

I'd have to do some google searching to see if I can find some that are editable, but Google calendar comes to mind, and I'm thinking that one has editable settings for multiple people, but not 100% sure on that. I'm sure there are lots of places that have them though, and if you have access to your hosting server via a CPanel setup, there are usually some in there that can be installed. Not super user friendly unfortunately, but they are multi person editable.

Let me know if you need help trying to find one and I'll see what I can do to help ya search :) Jo Ann

The Google calendar can be edited by multiple people. And it is easy to set up.

I use it a lot for its reminder feature. I can set it to email me about upcoming events in plenty of time for me to prepare. "Time heals everything. Know who said that? My Latin teacher at barber college!"

As most users have pointed out, Google Calendar is the best. I recently had to implement Google Calendar on my son's school website, its pretty easy to use.

There are some pretty good articles on this topic:

- google.com/support/calendar/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=41207

Also, have you checked BusyCal and BusySync (by busymac.com). You can share calendars on a LAN and sync with Google Calendar. http://www.saching.com (older) |

Ditto to Google Calendar. Just last week I set this one up for someone. Very easy to use and to insert into your webpage.
