Best Buy has a Gateway Intel Core I3 laptop on sale for $500 (originally $650).

But that's not the great news. People were reporting that Gateway had mistakenly put an Intel Core I5 processor in these computers, and reported that Gateway had confirmed this. So I had to go down and get one for myself.

Sure enough, for $500, I got a $750 Gateway I5 laptop. The sale started on 1/30 and I got the last one at my local Best Buy, so if you are in the market, don't wait on this exceptional value.
