I need to get someone to look at 55 digital photos and to write down some comments about the pics.

A simple way would be to put a word doc together and add the pics to a table, send it to them and get them to email it back. But I don't really want to sit there and add 55 pics one at a time.

Any ideas about an easier way?

Actually, it's not that hard in Word.
Create your table at the top.
Space down a few lines below the table and click Insert -> Picture
Go to the folder with the pictures
Select the first picture, hold down the shift key, click the last picture (this will highlight all the pics)
    Click the Insert button

Now you have all the pictures below the table. Just drag each picture into the table cell that you want. It's probably not as easy as you want, but at least you don't have to go through the insert process for every single picture.

I use Excel for this exact thing when putting together a slide show for a stadium video screen. I place all the images in one column and the rest of the columns get data like first and last name, grade, number and position. This gives me the ability to sort the images. I send this to multiple people to fill in the proper data and make sure that each persons data matches so I know we have it correct.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
