Hi, I am creating a banner/logo header for my site, but when I upload it in SCD the dimensions are wrong, so I resize it in SCD, but then some strange anomalies occur... the text looks pixelated and some brown smudge appears on one of the letters. Very odd. Im hoping if I design the header at the proper dimensions it will resolve those issues.

SO I guess I need the dimensions of the PAGE HEADER BACKGROUND?

When I upload it to the background its way too big, so I upload it to the LOGO and UNCHECK "keep original size." Then when I adjust it it ends up being 904 x 207. Ill include the screen shot. Which should I be uploading it to?

Looks perfect to me in FX. try clearing your cache or refreshing your browser a few times. I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's so easy to overlook something your not looking for.

Yes, I know it looks "ok," but I really need the dimensions of the header so that I can optimize the quality of the header design. Eric, did you notice the strange brown smudge on the letter "s" in "motivations" in the attached file? Do you also see that in your browser? You wont see it unless youre looking for it. Im using firefox.

Try this, right click in centre of screen, select view page info, select media

it will show you the size of all elements of your page
